The Bar Council Appointments Service is designed to enable the Bar Council’s members and external parties to ask the Chair of the Bar to appoint a barrister to act as an arbitrator, mediator or expert in respect of a dispute between themselves and one or more other parties.
Appointments are made from the arbitrator, mediator and expert database managed and maintained by the Bar Council’s Services Team. To join the database, download the form below, view the terms and conditions and request a template arbitration, mediation or expert determination agreement.
